Saturday was Heather and Noel’s wedding day! They were married at the Franklin Community Chapel in the historic district. Noel’s family has been with First Baptist Church for so long that he used to run down the aisle of this chapel to get the single seater pew before church on Sundays. A couple of incredibly large churches have grown in this place since then but it still has great sentimental value for Noel and Heather. It was a perfect day for photography – the light was amazing! It’s just so nice when everything falls into place. :)

The couple opted to see each other before the ceremony so that they could have some alone time together on the wedding day and get straight to enjoying their reception after the ceremony. When things are done this way, we have a lot more time for the couples portraits and the pace of the whole day is much more relaxed. I really think it shows in the photographs.

These guys were so sweet! They wouldn’t kiss before the ceremony so they just got really close. :)

The ladies…

and gentlemen…

Everybody now – aren’t they a cute wedding party? :)

Pastor Tom Moucka presided over the ceremony and his wife was one of the bridesmaids. I went to their church when I was quite young so it was fun to see them both again. :)

Noel’s parents…

The reception was held at First Baptist (The People’s Church).

Hugs all around…

The “next bride”. :)

No one could resist having a seat in the stretch hummer! Heather and Noel were very gracious when they found their mothers and all of their friends ready to accompany them on their honeymoon…

…right before the chaufeur kicked them all out so that the newlyweds could bid everyone a final farewell. :)

It was a beautiful day with a gorgeous couple and we were honored to be a part of it. Congratulations Heather and Noel!
