Ok 7 week session if you’re counting but doesn’t everyone do these just a little late? As many of you already know, Evie’s mom is my best friend, Rachel. We don’t get to see them nearly as much as we’d like so it’s nice to have a regular excuse to get down there way for dinner while the bebes are young. Evie is the sweetest little thing and Lauren is getting to be so much fun! Here are a few from our play date: Being harassed – I mean, loved on – by her big sister….
The Girls
Dogs are man’s best friend. Jon believes it. Sorry Jon – I had to!
As of late, Jon is also referred to as “Daddy Prince”. Lauren is a very official princess! This is all she wears nowadays.
And last but not least….how could you not love this face??

Engagement sessions are such a huge part of what we do at McLellan Studio. We love having that time to get to know our couples and we truly believe that it makes an incredible difference in the wedding photography. Just having the opportunity to learn each other – us seeing what our clients respond well to and them seeing that being photographed doesn’t have to be a stiff tedious ordeal – you can see how the wedding day goes so much more smoothly because of this! I realized that we’ve not featured an engagement session in a good long while and since that category is currently blank on the new blog, check out a few from Jessica and Ronnie’s session! They got this one as a 6 square foot gallery wrap canvas print for their living room and it looks amazing!
This one is a 20×30 metallic gallery print in their bedroom. The metallic really makes this image pop – love it!
These were all part of their fine art engagement album, which doubled as a guest signing book. These are a huge hit with our couples and their guests! These books are such a wonderful documentary of your time of engagement. Guests love looking through it on the wedding day and our couples love that it becomes a special memento of both their engagement and well wishes from loved ones. Plus it’s soooo pretty!

Not so much on the making blogs thing, though–I got everything configured and running and did the flash work. But a friend of mine helped me by creating a custom skin to stylize the appearance. Certain aspects turned out too close to some of Brock Martin’s designs, and I’m going to be working to change those similarities this week. We’ll see how it turns out when all is said and done! I thought I’d share a few images from one of my favorite bridal sessions to date. Donna was such a gorgeous bride and we had the best time at her and Glenn’s wedding! I love the old starlet feel she brought to her look and Scarritt Bennett was the perfect backdrop! Donna is such a bubbly, happy person who laughs all the time so it’s kind of ironic that my favorites are mostly her serious faces but she’s just so fabulously sexy when she’s serious, don’t you think?
