Savannah, Georgia Weddings – Marlena and Tim Part 2

This past weekend was another wonderful weekend off! I could totally get used to this! I do have to say though that I’m so excited about this weekend’s wedding with Amber and Tyler! We’re heading out to Hunting Beach in South Carolina and it should be awesome! In the meantime, as promised: Marlena and Tim’s Us Session. This is one of my favorite Us Sessions to date! Savannah is our kind of town – rustic and colorful all in one. The fact that Marlena and Tim can’t take a bad picture is just bonus!
I simply adore spanish moss! Think we can get it to grow in TN?
ah cobblestone! I love the streets here and Marlena was great to lay in them.

Savannah, Georgia Wedding Photography – Marlena and Tim

We have a couple of weeks off from shooting weddings but I still wanted to share something with you guys so I started thinking through our previous weddings and shoots. It then occurred to me that we never did a feature post for Marlena and Tim’s wedding last November! They are such a sweet, cute couple and their wedding was too much fun so it’s really just too bad you’ve not seen these already! They were married at the Westin Hotel in Savannah and it all couldn’t have gone more perfectly. We did a day after shoot with them in Savannah’s historic district that I’ll have to post later but here is a little recap of their fabulous day…
Enjoying a quiet moment together before the festivities begin…
The guys…
The guys in their element…
The Ladies…
A little love from mom and dad.
Time to get married.
He had been waiting for this moment since they were in high school years ago…
Husband and Wife!
The reception was gogeous, over-looking the river and Savannah’s signature bridge.
I love these from their first dance. They just feel so full of love…
Sparklers are my current favorite send off device.
The end…
Thanks for looking! Hugs, Mel and Sean | |

Mel Watson: So lovely… I love the first dance images. Third to last image is also my favorite. Not to copy Critsey or anything… she just got here quicker than me so I couldn’t call dibs. Hey you should shoot another Savannah wedding… like oh next weekish and then swing back by our place. Yeah I’d like that. So you get on that and I’ll prepare the guest room.
Brandon Schroeder: You guys are amazing – such an inspiration. (7.11.08, 1:39 am)

Nashville, TN Wedding – Community Church and Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club

Melissa and Brad started dating in high school and have been together for 6 years – that’s almost as long as Sean and I and we’ve been married for 5 years now. I can’t imagine! They must have been soooo ready to tie the knot! Their day finally came last Saturday and we couldn’t be happier for them. They are such a sweet couple with the sweetest families! The ceremony performed by Melissa’s dad at Community Church was beautiful and I don’t think you could have packed another soul into the ballroom at the Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club! You guys have A LOT of friends!! Thanks for having us join in the big celebration! Hope you enjoy the sneak peek! Happy 4th everyone!
