The day after Amber and Tyler’s wedding, we all got up bright and early to do an Us Session before heading out of town. The mosquitos were thick and blood-thirsty but the sunrise was beautiful! It made for a perfect quiet morning on the beach…

Happy 5th Anniversary (And other stuff that is good too)

Today is the day. Five years of having the BEST. WIFE. EVER. Thank you so much for everything, Mel–I love you so much! We’re still amazed at how quickly the time has gone. It seems like we were getting married a few months ago, but at the same time, it’s been forever. We couldn’t be any happier, and are thrilled looking forward to the next five years!
Check out that rad shirt. “With bump. Not plump.“ Mel was worried about the awkward “is she pregnant, is she not” stage… and one of our brides, upon hearing about her worries was absolutely fantastic and ran out right away and got this shirt for her! Thank you so much, Claire! We’ve got multiple requests for a belly shot. Here you go. Me, poking [insert yet-to-be-determined-awesome-name here].
On another note–we have a ton of thank you’s to send out! All of the comments you leave on our blog are wonderful, and greatly, greatly appreciated. It really does make our day to hear from everybody out there, and we are over the moon thankful to all of you. DoDaDay: May I direct your attention to the Baby Boy, Ladies & Gentlemen! What sort of parents did the wee one pick. Daddy Sean’s IQ reported as 165 on a bad day when he wasn’t paying attention. From time spent with the two___There are indications that Mel’s may be even higher. So much for the brains department. Now then, Mel’s a gifted artist and Sean ain’t bad. Children gravitate to Mel’s magnetic charm & Sean is willing to follow her lead on what to do with “them”. Sean’s musical prowess goes beyond a talent that few comprehend. Both are pretty, cute, attractive, handsome, stunning, and other adjectives found in Roget’s Thesaurus. Neither of them are football players (that’s good) chew tobacco, drink, spit, or swear (not much)! Both have an incredible eye for beauty symmetry, color, lighting, setting, eclecticness, the unusual, the daring, exploring the unexplored,
superb quality. Both are acutely aware of the rapid passage of time and respect every second. Both have an obvious spiritual fragrance and believe in God…Big time. Both know what’s really important in life and eschew anything remotely resembling pettiness. So, Baby Boy…congrats!!!

We have been absolutely itching with anticipation to get to our 20 week ultrasound! Generic baby is not nearly as much fun as a son or daughter.
it’s a BOY!!! We drew a name from all of the boy votes and my dear friend Allison O’Dell is the big winner of an iTunes gift card! Thanks so much for playing along everyone!
