The rain almost shut down the outdoor ceremony with a huge downpour half-way through the bridesmaid’s procession. We all stood there not knowing what to do as the rain increased – do you run away in the middle of a ceremony?? Finally, once we were all soaking wet, everyone made a mad dash for shelter! Luckily, the bad weather cleared out while guests mingled and it became the most beautiful day for Rebecca and Jamie’s union! Congratulations to you both! It was such an honor to be there and document your day!

Engagement Photography – Heather and Chris in Greenville, SC

First of all, I might just have a new favorite city! Greenville is the most adorable place ever! We took a nice little drive through the mountains last Thursday and landed in this beautiful metropolis to meet Heather and Chris for their engagement session. These two are as adorable as Greenville!

She’s a completely adorable exotic beauty, talented painter, and whimsical girl. Photographing Yanira waist deep in underbrush, in the heat, and in the rain was, believe it or not, just too much fun! :o)
It’s at times like these that I really want a great biiiiiiig wide blog so that I can show you these kinds of images the way they were meant to be! A TON of work? Uh-yah. Worth it – oh-yah! This is my favorite. Can you tell? ;o)
We’re off to Asheville, NC for 2 weddings and 2 engagement sessions – phew! It’s gonna be a busy week! We won’t have much in the way of internet but we’ll do our best to keep you up to date while we’re away! Bye for now! | |
