Congratulations, Amy & Dominic!

We had a great engagement shoot with a great couple this past Saturday. We had to cancel two previous sessions with them due to awful weather, but we finally lucked out and it was worth the wait. Here's a few of our favorites.

We're really looking forward to your Bridal shoot next weekend, Amy. See you then!

Happy Easter!

Written by Mel McLellan

What a beautiful day! We spent today with some very dear friends of ours, just visiting and eating great food! The pictures are of their kids. I used to nanny these guys way back when and they are my babes! (The nest at the top is Rose's creation.)

It was so nice to relax and enjoy good company. We hope you all are having a wonderful Easter Holiday! Peace be with you!

Viva Las Vegas!

Written by Mel McLellan

We just got back from an amazing trip to Las Vegas, Nevada for a photography convention. I can't even begin to tell you how much we learned! We were in classes straight through from as early as 8:30am until as late as 12:30 in the morning. We didn't eat or sleep much but it was so worth it! Our heads are so full of new ideas to implement in McLellan Studio and we can't wait to get started! Expect to see big changes over the coming months! Thank you to all of the speakers - we enjoyed every single seminar!

Here are a few pictures from our trip. Most were taken on our last night there - we went out night shooting - I have a thing for old signs. The rest are from the trip out to see a real wedding photographed. Some of the biggest names in the industry (Yervant, Bambi Cantrell, Alt F, etc.) were hired on to shoot this wedding. It was incredible to watch them work and very gracious of the bride and groom to let us all tag along! Thank you Mark and Evelyn!

From the plane -

Too cool for school...

Bellagio water show -

What a hottie! ;)

1:30am and still plenty of traffic - it really is the city that never sleeps...

Cool old signs

My Self-Portrait - yikes!

This is me wishing I was the one behind the camera!
