Sean and Melanie McLellan are the internationally acclaimed husband and wife photography team behind McLellan Style. Don’t you just love couples who have been together for years and years, are absolute best friends, and are even more love-struck than they were on their first date? That’s Ally and Glaydon and their Nashville wedding was the perfect reflection of their love for each other and the fun they have together. In short, they are adorable and we are completely love with them! :0)
The wedding took place at Brentwood Baptist Church in the Baskin Chapel with the reception following in downtown Nashville at 3rd aVenue South. The following are some highlights from their gorgeous wedding day, but first let me share the names of the awesome vendors featured below:

3rd aVenue South looked amazing! Kristin did an incredible job putting everything together to bring the couple’s vision to life!
Dinner was served family-style at each table and when Chef’s Market caters, you really just want to sit and eat all night long!
First dance
I adore a good father-daughter dance any day, but this is the first one that made me misty-eyed. The way they held each other was just so tender.
Seriously best wedding band ever! I will get into that more later, but in case you’re booking your wedding band now, let me just go ahead and say it – give them a call – they’re the ones you want!
All in all it was a beautiful, wonderful, amazing good time had by all! Hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into their day! :0)

Let’s face it, we’re pretty much in love with these guys. They are completely adorable, so down to earth, and they even got us cute hats for Seven and a Chuy’s gift card so we can make ourselves sick on creamy jalepeno sauce! What’s not to love? ;0) Ally and Gladyon, we had such a great time at your wedding we couldn’t even believe it when it was time to go! Getting an email from Sarah has been the highlight of my day for the past several months. She makes me laugh every time, whether we’re discussing which locations to choose for a shoot, what the travel plans will be, or a nightmare she had the night before. She is just a hoot I tell you! :0) She’s also all about having a wedding that is the antithesis of wedding stereotypes which makes her my favorite kind of bride. I mean, you know she’s taking her wedding down an alternative path, just by looking at her dress. LOVE. IT. We shot her bridal session a couple of weeks back, but we had to hold off on showing the sneak peek until after her wedding and I’ve been dying to post these! We had the best time and can you guess from the images where we shot? It was such a fun location!

A few weeks back I saw a posting on twitter from a fellow photographer out in California. He posted a link and said it was the coolest thing he’d seen in a long time, so of course I had to go check it out. What I found was Lydia Shannon – an incredible woman who was doing everything in her power to raise money for breast cancer research through the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She was gathering together photographers who were willing to auction off mentoring sessions, photography sessions, and photography products. The goal: to raise 10,000 dollars! $10,000! And she didn’t stop there. Lydia vowed that if she was able to raise all of the money, she would go one giant, daring step further in her efforts and shave her head in order to donate ALL of her hair to Locks of Love. Wow. We’ve never met Lydia before, but Sean and I are big fans of lofty goals and brave maneuvers and we knew that we wanted to help!
We will be auctioning off a one-hour mentoring session to be conducted via phone or video-chat. It can be held in person too if you’d like to come see us and if you do make your way down to Nashville, lunch is on us! :0) In our time together, we would love to help you with whatever it is you’re struggling with about your business and we promise to be an open book. The auctions start on Thursday, October 14th and ends on Tuesday, October 19th. As soon as our auction goes live, I’ll be posting a link to it here in this post.
In the meantime, we need your help! Please spread the word about F/Stop Breast Cancer and please please come bid on our auction! We want to help Lydia raise as much as we possibly can and we guarantee it will be worth your while! You may remember Josh and Ting from the trip we took with them to Iceland earlier this year. This past weekend was their wedding celebration extravaganza in NYC and we were thrilled to be there and take part! These guys did it right – marriage ceremony in February, amazing trip and photo shoot in June, and two days of celebration with friends and family in September — they got married all year long! :0)
While we were in town, we took these guys around for a little NYC couple’s shoot and here are a few of our favorites:
Josh and Ting actually got married at the Apple flagship store in NYC on Valentine’s day. I was very very pregnant at the time and unable to make the trip so I’m so glad Sean was able to get out late with them one night and get fun images like this to commemorate their ceremony. :0)
