Violet is one year old as of mid July and now that we’re finding the slightest bit of relief from all this heat, we got out to commemorate her milestone with a photo shoot. Seven and Violet are best buds, so we brought him along for a few photos of them together. These will be so much fun to look back on when they’re older. =)

V’s grandparents came along too.  I love grandparent photos. =)

And of course Mom and Dad had to get in on the action – them and Violet’s baby brother who is expected to make his debut at the end of October…

Happy Birthday Miss Violet! We love you! =)

I was totally taken with Whitney and Jon’s wedding last weekend. It was the perfect mix of classical inspiration and whimsy. The night was fun, elegant, emotional and beautiful and it couldn’t have happened to a better couple. Congratulations you two! You and your families were such a pleasure.  We wish you many years of happiness together and can’t wait for you and your children to relive the beginning of those years through your beautiful photos!

I love this moment as Whitney and Jon exited the sanctuary as husband and wife for the first time. =)

The reception was held at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and wedding planner Angela Proffit and floral designer Perri of Oshi Flowers really outdid themselves!

My favorite part was the dessert bars – his and hers.  They were so tantalizing and delicious – I like cake, but this was an awesome alternative.

And finally, the Nashvegas Allstars kept the party rockin’ and made sure everyone had a great time. It was an all around amazing event! Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!

We have way too many beautiful images to sort through from Whitney and Jon’s wedding last Saturday, but while we do that, I thought I’d go ahead and share a few from the bridal session.  Whitney had a ceremony dress and a reception dress so she opted to have Jon join her for photos in the latter.  I absolutely love the idea because we were able to get awesome images of the couple at their reception location that wouldn’t have been possible on the wedding day.  So fun!

Here are a few of my favorites…
